Lusina B. is a year-round lakefront home, not house, featuring large windows with panoramic views of the lake and the woods. It is filled with touches of Adirondack memorabilia and personal charm. The house comfortably sleeps 8 and feels more like a B&B than a rental.
The main level contains a living room/dining room with original pine floors and oriental carpeting, a fireplace surrounded by floor to ceiling windows, 32” HD-TV, and BluRay DVD player, a fully equipped kitchen with hardwood floors, doubleoven, microwave, center island, TV and floor to ceiling windows looking out onto a deck, and a large powder room with front-loading washer and dryer. In the summer, you will live in the enclosed front porch overlooking the lake which has a large Mennonite made dining room table, Adirondack sofa (sofa bed), chairs, and area rugs.
The two second floor bedrooms have dormer windows and full cedar closets. The master bedroom contains a beautiful queen bed, a stair-chest leading up to the lakeview window, and a small TV. The second bedroom is furnished with a twin bed and pull-out trundle, perfect for children. Bathroom with tub/shower completes the second floor.
The walk-out lower level faces the lake and is accessed by a circular staircase from the main floor or from the French doors leading from the lake. Bookcases with books and games line the downstairs family room, which has 2 comfortable love seats, TV, DVD player and wet bar. There are two bedrooms on this level: the Moose Room, containing a Mission style full bed, bureau and chest, and full cedar closet, and the Blue Room featuring an Adirondack inspired full bed with chest and closet. The full bath is equipped with a shower stall.
An oversized two car garage will house your vehicles. A deck on the side of the house has beautiful wicker table and chairs, and gas grill.
Several steps (12) lead down to the lake -- the reason for being here! A 16X22 dock protrudes into the lake and is a fabulous place for relaxing, sunning, and fishing. Several Adirondack chairs line the dock. The 225 feet of waterfront is perfect for swimming, there is a swim float w. ladder located 12 feet from the shoreline. The boat house is ready for your boat. Life vests, two 9 foot kayaks and a row boat are available for use. Lusina B sits slightly off the main portion of the lake, while still affording everyone with gorgeous views of the lake. It is a little more quiet here since motorboat wakes tend to remain in the main part of the lake. For this reason, loons are welcome inhabitants of the cove. A hammock is waiting for your afternoon nap.
